Creating custom art work and imagery. From conception to final product, I guide clients through the processes of creating visual expressions of their ideas. I manage budgets large and small, timelines, contracts, and expectations to create public artworks, private spaces, signs, paintings, sculptures, and visual lexicons with pen and ink, paint, welded and laser cut steel, glass, and landscaping.
Community Organizer, Fundación Golondrinas | GUALLUPE ECUADOR || 2001 & 2004
Organized community meetings and implemented design and production methods for economically supressed regions to create independent, agriculture and skill based economies. Painted relevant information on their bus stops, schools and in other public places. Built terraced fields to abate soil erosion and preserve family farms. Lobbied the Ecuadorian government to recognize Afro-Ecuadorian people as a distinct cultural group.
